Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The L.A. Zoo is currently open with a modified experience. Advance purchase of date-specific tickets is recommended for all general admission guests. This lush oasis is home to thousands of animals – including one of the largest troops of chimpanzees in North America. Exhibit highlights include Rainforest of the Americas, which transports guests to a tropical rainforest that's home to piranhas, giant otters, harpy eagles, tapirs, and jaguars, and more. Other highlights include the massive Elephants of Asia habitat and the LAIR (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles), where guests can view rare and endangered critters, many of which can be seen at no other zoo in the world. The Zoo funds and participates in wildlife conservation programs all over the world, which means that every ticket purchase helps protect endangered and vulnerable species.
