South Birmingham Photographic Society is a part of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF) and enjoys taking part in competitions with other Societies within the MCPF as well as access to lecturers and judges. We also encourage participation in all of the MCPF exhibitions to promote photography within the Midlands. Based on my research of this photography club, the South Birmingham Photographic Society appears to be a fantastic option for anyone in the Birmingham area with an interest in photography. It’s a small, friendly club that seems welcoming to photographers of all levels. What stands out is their involvement in the broader photography community as they are affiliated with the BPE (British Photographic Exhibitions), PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain), and MCPF (Midland Counties Photographic Federation). These affiliations indicate a commitment to high standards and offer members opportunities to engage in exhibitions and competitions. For Birmingham residents looking to expand their photography skills and connect with like-minded individuals, this club looks like it could be a great fit.
