Hello, I'm San Diego Museum Council.

Our mission is to increase awareness​,​ connect​,​ provide services and advocate for the diverse museums within our membership. The Council traces its roots to Balboa Park in the 1920s. We brought together the directors of museums to discuss topics of interest​,​ work collaboratively on programs and solve common issues. We’ve grown to nearly 80 museums of art​,​ culture​,​ history​,​ science​,​ and nature from all over San Diego County. We provide support services to this industry in resource networking​,​ professional education​,​ and collaborative marketing.
