Description
I have home educated for over 18 years. I have a Masters in Reading, a current Ohio Teaching certificate and a B.A. in speech communication. I taught in both a public and private school before we had children. We have used an eclectic model including unit studies, Charlotte Mason, Montessori, and classical education. I have experience with students with autism, ADHD, missing limbs, gifted, homeschooling multiple ages at once, and teaching kids to read. We have three children through international adoption and four by birth. I have completed end of the year portfolio reviews and helped homeschooling families for over 13 years. I work with families to help them plan for high school, write their college counselor letter, create transcripts, help them work with their student's with reading challenges, help managing a home school day, scheduling a home school day, encouragement and general problem solving with your students.
