Description
I’m a good fit because I’m skilled with an energetic and fun teaching style. For ten years, I was a substitute teacher for school districts in San Luis Obispo County and King’s County; and for a total of 10 years, I was an English as a Second Language Teacher in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Cambodia. As an ESL Teacher, I instructed classes skillfully by performing fun and active speaking drills for chants, conversations, grammar, and phonics. I’m also blessed with a sense of humor and a witty personality to keep learners interested. I sang songs, danced, and did the motions of the songs with the students. I’m also an accomplished substitute teacher in America. As a substitute teacher, I successfully covered classes using the same curriculum as the full-time teachers with less time to prepare. While I was a substitute teacher, I wore many hats because I taught and cared for troubled students, students with disabilities as well as honors or advanced classes.
